Job Summary The General Labourer is responsible for providing hands-on support across a variety of residential and commercial restoration projects. This position involves physical labour, material and debris removal, jobsite preparation, cleaning, contents handling, equipment setup, and assisting restoration, demolition, and reconstruction crews.

This is a hands-on position that requires a strong work ethic, willingness to learn, ability to follow direction, and a commitment to maintaining safe, clean, and organized jobsites.

Duties

- Perform general labour duties on residential and commercial restoration projects.
- Assist Demo Crew, Construction Crew, and Project Managers as directed.
- Load, unload, carry, move, and organize materials, tools, equipment, contents, and debris.
- Assist with preparing work areas before restoration or demolition activities begin.
- Protect unaffected areas of the property using floor protection, poly, and other materials as directed.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas throughout the project.
- Assist with moving furniture, contents, appliances, and other items as required.




- Perform other general labour duties as required to support the project team.

Experience

- Previous experience in general labour or construction is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Solid physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods
- Knowledge of safety procedures and best practices in construction or industrial environments is a plus
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a safe work setting

Pay: $16.50-$18.50 per hour
