We're hiring a General Manager for a new boutique coworking floor in Montreal.
One full floor, 15,000 sq. ft. at the foot of Mount Royal. Roughly 100 members, 30 private offices, six meeting rooms, a serious beverage programme, and a café that becomes an event room after six.
This is a run-the-whole-thing job, not a front desk job.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
- Occupancy and revenue — you run the tours and you close them
- Members — front of house, issues, community, events
- The beverage programme — roaster relationship, quality, training, inventory
- The floor — cleaning, vendors, maintenance, building coordination
- The P&L; — monthly reporting, annual budget, cost control
- The platform — memberships, bookings, billing and door access
YOU'RE PROBABLY FROM HOSPITALITY
- Fluent in French and English, and comfortable writing professionally in both
- 3–5 years running a boutique hotel floor, a restaurant, a café group, a retail flagship or a flex workspace
- Willing to sell — this role doesn't work for someone who dislikes tours
- Hands-on: you'll reset a meeting room and unclog a machine on the same day
- Comfortable reading a P&L; and arguing with it
WHAT WE OFFER
Market-competitive salary plus a performance bonus tied to occupancy and NOI. Group insurance, three weeks off, a real budget for the coffee programme and the say over how it's spent, and the authority to set the tone of the place rather than follow a playbook from head office.
TO APPLY
Send a CV and a short note — in either language — to
[email protected]. Tell us about a place you've run and what you changed about it. No cover letter template, please. We reply to everyone.
