General Sales Manager – Superior Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram

Superior Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is a proud, community-rooted dealership serving Sault Ste. Marie and the surrounding region. With a strong reputation for customer service, performance, and community involvement, we are looking for an experienced General Sales Manager (GSM) to lead our sales operation and help take our dealership to the next level.

This is more than a Sales Manager position. We are looking for a proven leader, coach, and automotive sales professional who can build a high-performing team, drive results, strengthen processes, and play an active role in the overall success of the dealership.

What You'll Do

- Lead and oversee all sales operations, including new, used, and finance.
- Recruit, train, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team.
- Establish clear monthly goals and hold the team accountable for achieving them.
- Build and maintain a structured, consistent desking and sales process.
- Drive proper CRM usage, follow-up, lead management, and process adherence.
- Monitor and improve key performance indicators, including lead conversion, VPA, gross per unit, closing ratios, CSI, and overall volume.
- Work closely with the Dealer Principal and department leaders on pricing, inventory, promotions, and strategic planning.
- Partner with marketing teams to maximize digital and in-store sales opportunities.
- Ensure every customer receives a professional, transparent, and exceptional experience from the first interaction through delivery.
- Develop a strong sales culture built around accountability, teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement.




- Champion compliance, ethics, and best practices throughout the sales department.
- Identify opportunities to improve profitability, efficiency, customer retention, and overall dealership performance.

What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of automotive sales experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role such as Sales Manager or GSM.
- A proven track record of increasing sales volume, gross profit, and team performance.
- Strong knowledge of automotive desking, CRM systems, digital retail, inventory management, and sales processes.
- A hands-on leader who can motivate, coach, and hold a team accountable.
- Strong communication skills and high emotional intelligence.
- A genuine passion for developing people and building a winning dealership culture.
- Experience with PBS, Dealertrack, or similar dealership systems is an asset.
- Chrysler/Stellantis or multi-brand dealership experience is preferred, but not required.
- A strong work ethic, qualified attitude, and commitment to doing business the right way.

Pay: $80,000.00-$130,000.00 per year
