Duties

- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, and order pickers to load, unload, and move materials safely within the warehouse
- Assist with order picking and packing to ensure accurate and efficient order fulfillment
- Manage shipping and receiving processes by verifying inbound and outbound shipments using warehouse management systems like AS400
- Conduct inventory counts and maintain accurate stock levels through proper documentation and system updates
- Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing storage areas, loading trucks, and preparing shipments for dispatch
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance or report repairs needed
- Ensure compliance with safety standards during heavy lifting, equipment operation,



and construction-related tasks

Skills

- Proven experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, and order pickers
- Strong understanding of warehouse distribution processes including shipping & receiving, order picking, packaging, and load & unload procedures
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot heavy equipment issues effectively
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) like AS400 for inventory tracking and order processing
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during order fulfillment
- Experience in manufacturing or construction environments is a plus for understanding heavy machinery operation
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and warehouse safety standards
