Become the Assistant Director of Care at Tendercare Living Centre with Extendicare, where your leadership enhances resident-focused care. This full-time opportunity invites skilled nurses to innovate and improve quality standards.

In this role, the ADOC supports the Director of Care and leads clinical initiatives, ensuring high quality and safety for residents. You'll collaborate with teams, engage families, and implement best practices aligned with Extendicare’s mission and regulations. Your role is pivotal in driving satisfaction and fostering a positive organizational culture.

Key Responsibilities:



• Lead clinical program management and performance evaluation • Develop quality improvement frameworks • Ensure compliance with health care regulations • Collaborate with staff and families for exceptional care • Promote career development and mentorship of staff

Requirements: • Minimum three years in long-term care as a Registered Nurse • Experience in a supervisory or managerial role • Valid RN license and current CPR certification • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills • Familiarity with EHR systems and quality initiatives
