This role, reporting to the Environmental Services Manager, is integral to maintaining cleanliness and comfort for residents through personal and community laundry tasks. You will ensure adherence to relevant regulations, with a solid focus on safety, effective communication, and a person-centered approach. Previous experience in laundry, particularly in healthcare, is valued.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform laundry sorting, washing, and drying tasks
• Handle stain removal and proper labeling of items
• Communicate effectively with residents and families




• Report safety concerns to the manager promptly
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols
Requirements:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• CPR & First Aid Certification preferred
• Understanding of the Retirement Homes Act
• Experience in laundry services, particularly in hospitality
• Clear vulnerability sector screen and TB test results
