Join our dynamic healthcare team as a GI Registered Nurse specializing in IBD (Inflammatory Bowel Disease) support, reimbursement assistance, and infusion therapy. Duties

- Deliver comprehensive patient care focused on IBD management, including administering infusions and monitoring responses to therapy
- Educate patients about their treatment plans, medication regimens, and self-care strategies to promote optimal health outcomes
- Assist patients with reimbursement processes by explaining insurance coverage options and helping navigate prior authorizations and appeals
- Provide treatment for patients at infusion appointments, ensuring proper setup, safety protocols, and patient comfort during procedures
- Maintain detailed electronic documentation of patient interactions, infusion records, and insurance communications in compliance with healthcare regulations
- Collaborate closely with physicians, pharmacists,



and insurance representatives to streamline patient care pathways
- Provide ongoing support for patients managing complex medication regimens and address questions related to treatment adherence

Qualifications

- Valid registered nurse license with current registration in the relevant jurisdiction
- Proven experience in patient care within gastroenterology and infusion therapy settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to gastrointestinal conditions and treatments
- Excellent communication skills to effectively educate and support patients through their treatment journey
- Ability to interpret insurance policies and assist with reimbursement procedures confidently
- Compassionate approach combined with attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary healthcare teams in a fast-paced environment
