GIS Specialist – 2026-104

Eldorado Gold Saskatchewan | Foran (TSX:ELD) is seeking a GIS Specialist to join our growing McIlvenna Bay team. This is a full-time position based at our Saskatoon office working Monday-Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm.

Eldorado Gold Saskatchewan | Foran is advancing the McIlvenna Bay project, a cornerstone asset and one of the most significant copper development projects in Canada. With commercial production expected in the second half of 2026, this world-class deposit contains copper, zinc, gold, and silver – key metals for the global transition to green energy. The GIS Specialist will contribute to the successful management and effective use of Geographic Information System (GIS) databases. The role will involve the collation, visualization and communication of spatial data, playing a crucial part in aiding decision-making processes for our exploration projects. The GIS Specialist will be responsible for generating accurate maps, figures, and reports to support the exploration team's objectives, for ensuring rigorous data management processes and for driving innovations in spatial data analysis.

Job Responsibilities:

- Collate spatial data from various internal and external sources into our organization-wide GIS portal, including geological, geophysical, geographical and remote sensing data.
- Maintain data and folder structures,



ensuring consistent file naming conventions with corporate standards and guidelines.
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency throughout the GIS portal.
- Generate high-quality maps, figures, and visuals for internal and external stakeholders.
- Customize maps for press releases and other communications to showcase exploration results, mineral prospects, and geological features.
- Produce tailored GIS products from global datasets, including DEMs, lidar, radiometric and satellite-based maps.
- Evaluate and implement alternative data visualization tools such as dashboards, online maps etc.
- Collaborate closely with geologists, geophysicists, and other team members to integrate GIS data into exploration workflows.
- Work with our Claims Manager to track exploration claim expiries and required spends in a centralized GIS location.
- Provide GIS support to team members using GIS software to facilitate effective decision-making processes.

Job Qualifications and Skills:

- Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Geology, GIS, or a related field.
- Proficient in GIS software such as ArcGIS, QGIS, and other relevant tools.
- Understanding of alternative data visualization tools such as Power BI.
- Robust interest in innovation and digital technology.




- Strong data management and database skills, including knowledge of SQL.
- Demonstrated ability to perform spatial analysis and exposure to 3D modeling.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to convey complex GIS concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
