As a Cultural Developer, you will join the Strategic Planning and Design division within Parks & Recreation. Your expertise will guide community goals and enhance social and cultural development through effective resource management. You will coordinate collections care, implement cultural strategies, and lead preservation efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee HRM artifact and public art collections • Maintain collection databases and Asset Register • Implement HRM culture and engagement strategies • Manage public art policy adherence and maintenance • Lead community engagement initiatives and consultation
Requirements: • University degree in Museum Studies or related field • Minimum four years of collections management experience • Valid Nova Scotia Class 5 Driver's License • Advanced knowledge in conservation and community engagement • Robust skills in process design and facilitation
