Support Middle School students as a part-time Learning Strategies Teacher at SMLS, beginning August 31, 2026. This role focuses on differentiated instruction and empowering young women in their educational journey.

As a part-time Learning Strategies Teacher at SMLS, you will address both academic and emotional needs of students. By collaborating with classroom teachers to implement effective strategies, you will help nurture an environment that promotes self-advocacy and individualized learning plans. Your contributions will enhance the educational experience for our diverse learners.

Key Responsibilities:



• Implement personalized learning strategies for students • Work with teachers to develop inclusive instruction • Attend integrated team meetings for student support • Assist in creating and evaluating student IEPs • Conduct assessments to gauge student progress

Requirements: • Bachelor of Education and Ontario Teacher Certification • 3-5+ years in educational support roles • Familiarity with strategies for diverse learning needs • Desired experience in an independent school setting • Solid communication and collaborative skills
