Glenwood Valley Farms Ltd. is a greenhouse farming operation located in Langley, British Columbia, specializing in the production of cucumbers, strawberries, and bell peppers.

We are looking for reliable and hardworking individuals to join our greenhouse production team.

SUMMARY

We are seeking Greenhouse Workers / Farm Labourers to assist with daily greenhouse operations, including planting, crop care, harvesting, grading, packing, cleaning, and general greenhouse duties.

This is a fast-paced and physically demanding work environment. Employees must be comfortable working in warm and humid greenhouse conditions, standing for extended periods, and performing repetitive tasks throughout the workday.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Plant, cultivate, irrigate, and harvest greenhouse crops.
- Perform general crop care and maintenance.
- Hand harvest cucumbers, strawberries, and bell peppers.
- Grade and sort produce according to size, quality, and condition.
- Examine produce for quality and readiness for market.
- Pack produce into containers according to quality and packing requirements.
- Prepare produce for storage and shipment.
- Clean crops, packing areas, and greenhouse work areas.
- Remove plant waste and maintain clean and organized work areas.




- Assist with general greenhouse and packing operations as required.
- Follow workplace health, safety, food safety, and hygiene procedures.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

- Previous greenhouse or agricultural experience is preferred but not required.
- On-the-job training will be provided.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Reliable, adaptable, and willing to learn.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks.
- Ability to bend, crouch, and kneel throughout the workday.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work.
- Ability to work in warm and humid greenhouse conditions.

This is a permanent, full-time position offering 40–48 hours per week on day shifts. No previous experience is required, and on-the-job training will be provided.
