Experience hands-on outdoor work with the Township of Oro-Medonte as a Seasonal Parks & Facilities Labourer. Contribute to park maintenance and community services while enjoying the beautiful Simcoe County.
This seasonal contract position in the Operations and Community Services Department spans four months, from September to December. You will assist with daily facility and park maintenance, ensuring safe and clean environments for the community. Flexibility in work hours and fulfilling responsibilities is vital, requiring both independent work and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
• Participate in fall cleanup for parks and playgrounds
• Assist in setting up community ice rinks for winter
• Provide general maintenance and repair tasks




• Inspect facilities and parks as needed
• Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements:
• Able to lift up to 20 kilograms
• Skilled in climbing ladders safely
• Valid Ontario Class 'G' Driver's License
• Versatile to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Satisfactory Driver's Abstract and Vulnerable Sector Screening
