Serve as a Community Health Nurse with the First Nations Health Authority in St’at’imc, B.C., focusing on community health and wellness initiatives. Your role will involve core nursing functions across First Nations communities.
In this part time position, you will independently and collaboratively provide essential public health services. With a focus on health promotion and disease prevention, you'll travel throughout the region, working intimately with diverse populations to enhance health outcomes. Your contribution is vital for building healthier communities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide nursing services to First Nations communities and populations • Implement public health strategies to improve community well-being • Work alongside interdisciplinary teams to deliver care • Engage in health promotion and disease prevention activities • Travel to various community locations for service delivery
Requirements: • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or equivalent training • Current active registration with BCCNM • Minimum one year experience in point-of-care nursing • Must hold a valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License • Basic Life Support Certification Level C
