is seeking a reliable and motivated

Float Maintenance Technician

to join our team on a casual, on-call basis. If you take pride in maintaining protected, comfortable environments and enjoy making a difference in the lives of seniors, we'd love to hear from you. Status:

Casual, On-Call Wage:

$25.07 - $26.47 per hour Maintenance Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Previous facility maintenance experience is preferred Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC systems Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Strong ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English Proven organizational skills and ability to work under strict time constraints Legally eligible to work in Canada Valid WHMIS certification upon hire (maintained annually) Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination Ability to pass and maintain a clear Ministry of Justice Criminal Record Check (upon hire and every 5 years thereafter) Maintenance Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on building systems (plumbing, painting, carpentry etc.) Conduct inspections of equipment and facilities to identify issues Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or management Maintain records of repairs and maintenance activities Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations Assist with moving furniture, setting up equipment, and other general facility tasks What we can offer you: Extended Health that includes prescription drug coverage, acupuncture, chiropractic care, massage, therapy, naturopathy care, osteopathic care, physiotherapy, psychologist care, speech therapy, & more!
