The Alberta iGaming Corporation (AiGC) is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented
Privacy Analyst
to join its Legal Services team. Reporting to the
Privacy Officer , this role will help build, implement, and maintain AiGC's privacy program while supporting compliance with Alberta's privacy and access to information legislation. As AiGC's first dedicated privacy resource, the Privacy Analyst will play a key role in protecting personal information, managing privacy risks, and fostering a culture of privacy awareness and accountability across the organization. This position is based in-office in Edmonton
and will work closely with internal teams and stakeholders to support AIGC’s Operations division. Why Join AiGC?

In this role you will own: Privacy Program & Governance
Support the development and maintenance of AiGC's Privacy Management Program Draft and maintain privacy policies, procedures, standards, and guidance materials Monitor legislative and regulatory developments and provide recommendations Support privacy reporting, record keeping,
and program administration Privacy Impact Assessments & Information Management
Coordinate and prepare Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) Conduct privacy research and risk analysis Support consultations with internal and external stakeholders Maintain inventories of personal information banks and data holdings Support the intake, investigation, and documentation of privacy incidents and complaints Assist with breach assessments, notifications, and remediation activities Prepare reports, correspondence, and recommendations Operator Compliance & Stakeholder Support
Support oversight of privacy obligations under AiGC operating agreements Review privacy-related submissions and compliance documentation Respond to privacy inquiries and provide guidance across the organization Training, Awareness & Access to Information
Deliver privacy training and awareness initiatives Develop privacy resources, presentations, and communication materials Support processing of access to information requests and related regulatory matters Assist with reviews and inquiries from the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner (OIPC) What You Bring
Required:
Degree, diploma, or certificate in Law, Information Management, Public Administration, Regulatory Compliance, or a related field Minimum 3 years of experience applying privacy legislation or supporting privacy compliance programs Experience conducting Privacy Impact Assessments and supporting privacy incident investigations Experience preparing policies, procedures, reports, and recommendations Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Preferred:
Experience in a regulated environment is an asset Privacy certification (CIPP/C, CIPM, or equivalent) is considered an asset Experience with access to information requests, records management, or regulatory investigations is considered an asset
