Responsibilities

- Provide professional hair styling, cutting, coloring, and finishing services to clients in a welcoming and hygienic environment
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in your station and tools to ensure client safety and comfort
- Engage with clients through friendly communication, understanding their needs, and offering personalized recommendations
- Upsell additional services or retail products to enhance client satisfaction and increase revenue opportunities
- Manage appointment scheduling efficiently at the front desk, ensuring smooth flow of daily operations
- Build solid relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and foster a loyal clientele
- Keep your station organized, stocked with necessary supplies, and compliant with health regulations

Skills

- Proven experience in hair styling, cutting, coloring, or related cosmetology skills
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Strong knowledge of sanitation practices and safety protocols in a salon setting
- Ability to upsell retail products or additional services confidently without being pushy
- Effective communication skills for engaging clients and collaborating with team members
- Basic front desk skills including appointment booking, payment processing, and client check-in/out procedures
- Retail sales experience is a plus for promoting products and increasing revenue

Ideal Candidate We are looking for a reliable and experienced beauty professional, such as:
- Hairstylist
- Lash technician
- Esthetician
- Makeup artist
- Other compatible beauty professionals

Requirements
- Must have appropriate professional certification/licensing where required
- Valid business license, if applicable
- Liability insurance required
- Professional, respectful and reliable
- Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workstation
- Must provide their own tools, equipment and products unless otherwise agreed
- Must follow salon policies and maintain a professional environment for all clients

Rental Terms Monthly Rent: $1,500
- Full-time rental: 5 days per week
- Rent is due at the beginning of each month
- No subletting or sharing the chair without prior approval
- Renter operates their own business and is responsible for their own clients, bookings, payments, taxes, licenses and insurance
- Renter is responsible for cleaning their workstation and maintaining a professional salon environment
