Responsibilities
- Support senior stylists by preparing clients and assisting during hair treatments and styling procedures
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas, tools, and equipment
- Greet clients warmly at the front desk, manage appointments, and handle check-in/check-out processes efficiently
- Assist with retail sales by recommending hair care products and upselling where appropriate
- Ensure the salon environment is organized, tidy, and inviting at all times
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide excellent customer service
- Help with inventory management of hair products and salon supplies to ensure smooth daily operations
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Basic knowledge of hair styling techniques and salon procedures
- Ability to maintain high standards of sanitation and hygiene in a busy environment
- Effective communication skills to interact confidently with clients and team members
- Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to upsell products naturally
- Experience in retail sales or front desk duties is a plus but not required
- Excellent organizational skills to manage appointments and salon supplies efficiently
