Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated HCA/Support Worker to join our team, providing essential care and support to individuals in various settings. As an HCA/Support Worker, you will work closely with clients to promote independence, comfort, and dignity while ensuring their safety and health are prioritized at all times.

Responsibilities

- Assist clients with personal care routines including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting to promote comfort and hygiene.
- Support patients with mobility needs, including transferring, positioning, and heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring safety at all times.
- Administer medications following prescribed schedules and document all medication activities accurately.
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements and assist with feeding if needed.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients’ mental well-being and reduce feelings of loneliness.




- Perform light cleaning duties within clients’ living spaces to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to monitor health status, report changes promptly, and assist with care planning.

Skills

- Prior experience in assisted living or nursing home environments is highly desirable.
- Strong patient care skills with a genuine passion for supporting others’ well-being.
- Knowledge of dementia care, hospice care, or working with individuals with disabilities is advantageous.
- Ability to handle physical tasks such as heavy lifting safely and effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to build trustful relationships with clients and team members.
- Competence in medication administration and understanding of basic nursing procedures.
- Flexibility to adapt to different care needs, including home care or senior care settings.
