Role Description

We are hiring a Head of Blockchain Finance Strategy to lead strategy, research, and market intelligence across blockchain finance, digital assets, crypto investment themes, and Web3 financial ecosystems. This is a full-time, paid remote role based in Canada focused on blockchain finance strategy, digital asset markets, investment research, decentralized finance, tokenized assets, and Web3 financial infrastructure.

The Head of Blockchain Finance Strategy will guide research priorities, evaluate blockchain finance opportunities, support investment-focused strategy, and prepare leadership-ready insights across cryptocurrency markets, DeFi protocols, stablecoins, tokenized assets, blockchain infrastructure, and decentralized financial products. This role is ideal for someone with strong interest in blockchain finance, digital asset investment, Web3 market strategy, crypto capital flows, and emerging financial technology.

Responsibilities

- Lead research across blockchain finance,



cryptocurrency markets, digital assets, DeFi protocols, stablecoins, tokenized assets, and Web3 financial infrastructure
- Monitor capital flows, liquidity conditions, token performance, investor sentiment, regulatory developments, market cycles, and blockchain adoption trends
- Develop blockchain finance strategy, investment themes, market positioning, opportunity analysis, risk awareness, and digital asset research priorities
- Prepare leadership-ready strategy reports, market intelligence updates, blockchain finance briefs, investment summaries, and digital asset research materials
- Track developments across crypto exchanges, DeFi platforms, blockchain startups, tokenized finance projects, venture activity, institutional adoption, and Web3 infrastructure
- Evaluate opportunities across decentralized finance, tokenized assets, stablecoins, blockchain networks, smart contract platforms, and crypto-native financial products
- Collaborate with team members on digital asset research, blockchain consulting strategy, investment intelligence, product insights, and Web3 market projects
- Maintain organized research frameworks, market trackers, opportunity pipelines, token watchlists, ecosystem maps, and blockchain finance intelligence resources

Qualifications

- Strong interest in blockchain finance, cryptocurrency markets, digital assets, Web3 investment strategy, DeFi,



stablecoins, and tokenized assets
- Familiarity with investment research, blockchain consulting, digital asset analysis, crypto markets, token ecosystems, Web3 infrastructure, or financial technology
- Understanding of liquidity, capital flows, token sectors, market cycles, investor sentiment, portfolio exposure, regulatory themes, and decentralized financial systems
- Familiarity with blockchain explorers, crypto analytics tools, DeFi dashboards, TradingView, market data platforms, portfolio tools, or investment research tools is a plus
- Strong research, analytical, leadership, strategic thinking, communication, and decision-making skills
- Ability to explain blockchain finance trends, digital asset risks, investment themes, and strategic opportunities clearly
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment while managing multiple research, strategy, and leadership priorities
- Previous experience in crypto research, investment research, fintech, blockchain consulting, asset management, venture research, financial markets, or Web3 projects is helpful

Compensation

Salary range: CAD130,000 - CAD140,000 per year depending on experience
