We unify storefront, checkout, payment rails, risk, and AI agents so ecommerce brands can launch faster and operate from one platform.The RoleWe’re hiring a senior payments operator to own merchant acquiring from application to live processing.This is not a coordination role. You will personally turn complex ecommerce merchants into complete applications, underwriting approvals, competitive commercial terms, and activated processing volume across multiple PSPs.You’ll work directly with ecommerce founders, processors, banks, risk teams, and underwriters.

When an application stalls, you will identify the real blocker, create the path forward, and own it through resolution.

What You’ll Own

- Pre-underwrite each merchant across entity structure, beneficial ownership, products, website compliance, subscription model, fulfillment, processing history, chargebacks, financials, and risk
- Select the right processor and application strategy for each merchant
- Build complete, accurate, and internally consistent underwriting packages
- Lead applications and RFIs across partners including Airwallex, Checkout.com, Stripe, Braintree, Nuvei, PayArc, NMI, Authorize.net, Adyen, and others
- Translate underwriting requests into precise merchant action items, verify the evidence, and submit solid responses quickly
- Build relationships with processor sales, risk, and underwriting teams; follow up intelligently and escalate when needed
- Negotiate reserves, funding speed, pricing, volume limits, and ramp plans
- Diagnose declined or stalled applications and develop compliant paths to approval
- Own gateway, MID, descriptor, Shopify, and chargeback-alert setup through a successful production transaction
- Maintain a live portfolio where every application has one verified status, next action, owner, deadline, and submission receipt
- Build repeatable playbooks that improve application quality, approval rates, and time to live volume

- Applications are complete and accurate on the first submission
- Underwriting risks and contradictions are identified before the processor finds them
- RFIs receive fast, complete, evidence-backed responses
- Qualified merchants are approved and processing sooner
- Revley wins competitive reserves, funding, pricing, and volume terms
- No application becomes stale, ownerless, or ambiguous
- Merchants and processor partners trust you because you are responsive, accurate, and accountable

What We’re Looking For

- 5+ years in merchant acquiring, ecommerce payments, PSP or ISO operations, underwriting, merchant boarding, or payment implementations
- Direct experience getting card-not-present ecommerce and subscription merchants approved and live
- Experience with higher-volume or complex merchants; health, beauty, nutraceutical, or other closely scrutinized verticals is a strong plus
- Deep working knowledge of KYC/KYB, beneficial ownership, processing and bank statements, chargebacks, VAMP, reserves, MATCH, website compliance, fulfillment, and subscription risk
- A proven record of personally getting difficult payment applications unstuck
- Strong commercial judgment and experience negotiating processor terms
- Technical fluency with Shopify, gateways, MIDs, BINs/CAIDs, descriptors, tokenization, webhooks, and chargeback-alert enrollment
- Exceptional ownership, urgency, written communication, and follow-through
- High integrity: you know how to advocate aggressively without misrepresenting a merchant

- Application readiness and first-pass completeness
- Time from merchant intake to submission, approval, and first live transaction
- Avoidable RFI and rework rate
- Approval rate for qualified merchants
- Quality of reserves, funding, pricing, and volume terms
- Approved processing volume successfully activated
- Accuracy and freshness of the application portfolio
- This role is not for someone who forwards emails, reports blockers, or waits for instructions. We want someone who finds the real problem, builds the path, and closes the loop.
