In this technical role reporting to the Drill and Blast Engineer, you will collaborate with engineering and operations teams. Your work will involve utilizing UAVs and GPS data tools for surface data collection and maintaining design files. Strong analytical, logistical, and communication skills are essential for success in this dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Participate in health and safety programs
• Collaborate on site survey guidance and data collection
• Maintain As-Built design files for engineering
• Provide training to current team members
• Assist with cross-training in blast pattern design
Requirements:
• Diploma in Mining, Survey, or relevant field
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
• Experience with GPS data collection tools
• Canadian UAV Pilot Certificate preferred
• Familiarity with MinePlan3D is an asset
