As a Public Health Nurse, you will apply nursing theory and public health science to serve individuals, families, and communities in Winnipeg. Your focus includes immunizations, health promotion, and addressing social determinants of health. This is a full time role designed for patient-centered professionals eager to tackle health inequities while collaborating with diverse teams within the Population Public Health framework.
Key Responsibilities:
• Promote health through immunization and chronic disease prevention
• Conduct maternal and child health assessments
• Collaborate with community organizations and health professionals
• Facilitate group health education sessions
• Advocate for population health equity and self-determination
Requirements:
• Baccalaureate Nursing degree required
• Minimum two years of relevant public health experience
• Current registration with CRNM
• Valid Manitoba Class 5 driver’s license required
• CPR certification as per employer policy
