- Accurately & efficiently receive and put away inbound material
- Perform general physical activities in order to load, unload, sort and move products and materials by hand or using basic material handling equipment
- Operate, navigate and drive all company forklifts
- Co-ordinate the off-loading of inbound freight
- Read work orders or receive oral instructions for work assignments
- Continually update company software of any bin or overflow location changes
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace through the entire warehouse
- Provide on the job training to recent/junior receiving team members as required
- Assist staff members in the research and locating of product in the warehouse
- Provide information for the completion of incident reports in relation to health and safety issues
- Ensure efficient space utilization in stocking goods
- Provide extra care in handling fragile china/porcelain products
- Other duties as assigned

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal & written and an ability to impart knowledge.
- Good organization skills Attention to detail.
- Experience using computer systems.
- Accuracy in picking and shipping orders
- Organized team player with a strong aptitude to performing tasks accurately
- Punctual, efficient and professional




- Be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to work under time constraints and deadlines
- Able to lift at least 50 pounds
- Solid basic computer skills

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous warehouse experience will be considered an asset
- Experience in a rapid-paced environment an asset
- Previous plumbing and/or electrical industry experience will be considered an asset
