Job Title: Cloud Solution ArchitectLocation: Toronto, Calgary or EdmontonWork Style: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday WFOffice and Wednesday, Friday WFHomeRole DescriptionThe Solution Architect is responsible for designing and delivering scalable, secure, and business-aligned technology solutions that support strategic initiatives across the organization. Working under the guidance of the Architecture Team at Enbridge, this role bridges business requirements, enterprise architecture standards, and technical delivery to ensure solutions are effective, sustainable, and aligned with the broader technology roadmap.The Solution Architect collaborates closely with business stakeholders, project teams, delivery partners, and technical specialists to define end-to-end solution architectures that meet functional, non-functional, security, and operational requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign comprehensive end-to-end solution architectures for projects, programs, and initiatives within the assigned portfolio.Clearly document integration patterns, data flows, security controls, infrastructure requirements, and application interactions.Translate business requirements into technical solution designs, architecture artifacts, and implementation of roadmaps, including creating high-level and detailed design documents following organization architectural patterns and standards.Conduct architecture assessments and provide recommendations for risk mitigation.



Document and review with cyber security and other related risk holders to ensure that solution is aligned with Enbridge cyber security standards.Contribute to architecture methodologies, standards, patterns and reusable assets.Ensure a compliance checklist for the prepared solution design documents.Work with project stake holders to build project estimates (C5| C3| C1) using existing tools.Portfolio AlignmentPartner closely with the Portfolio Architect to ensure solution designs support portfolio strategy and target‑state architecture.Contribute to portfolio planning, technology selection, and architecture governance activities.Identify opportunities for standardization, reuse, modernization, and technical debt reduction.For all new technologies introduced in a solution, prepare presentations for Enbridge relevant architecture teams such as the Architecture Review Board (ARB) and Technology.Working Group (TWG) Delivery SupportSupport project delivery teams throughout the implementation lifecycle.Provide technical leadership during implementation, testing, deployment, and transition to operations.Required QualificationsBachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.Minimum 7 years of progressive IT experience, including 4 years in solution architecture or senior technical leadership roles.Proven experience designing enterprise-scale solutions across multiple technology domains.Robust understanding of application architecture, cloud platforms, integration, data architecture and security principles.Demonstrated success delivering complex technology initiatives.#J-18808-Ljbffr
