Role Overview

We are seeking a reliable and versatile Heavy Diesel Mechanic & Fleet Support to keep our fleet running safely and our shop operating smoothly. In this role, you will split your time between performing diagnostics, routine maintenance, and official safety inspections.

Key Responsibilities

- Fleet Maintenance & Repair: Perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and mechanical/electrical repairs on heavy diesel trucks, equipment, and fleet vehicles.
- Safety Inspections: Execute state/provincial safety inspections, log detailed compliance reports, and ensure all fleet vehicles meet regulatory standards before hitting the road.
- Shop Upkeep & Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, organized,



and safe work environment by sweeping bays, managing fluid disposal, putting away tools, and staging parts.
- Fleet Staging & Logistics: Move vehicles and equipment in and out of shop bays, assist with unloading deliveries, and manage shop inventory as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Experience: 2+ years of hands-on heavy diesel mechanics or commercial fleet repair experience.
- Tools: Possession of a personal tool set suitable for heavy diesel work (specialty shop tools provided).
- Work Ethic: Robust commitment to safety, continuous shop cleanliness, and team reliability.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 75 lbs, bend, stand, and work comfortably in a shop setting.

Pay: $25.24-$35.00 per hour
