Coburg Machinery Inc. is seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined Heavy Machinery Dismantler to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for dismantling heavy construction and industrial equipment, preparing machinery for export, and loading equipment and components into shipping containers safely and efficiently.

This position offers the opportunity to work with a variety of heavy equipment and specialized tools while gaining valuable industry experience in a hands-on environment.

Responsibilities:

- Dismantle heavy construction equipment, including excavators, loaders, compactors, and other industrial machinery.
- Use hand tools and power tools to remove, organize, and prepare machine components for shipment.
- Load equipment and parts into shipping containers in a safe and secure manner.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move machinery and components.
- Assist with positioning and securing machinery to maximize container space and ensure safe transportation.
- Conduct basic equipment inspections before operation and report any issues.
- Follow all company health and safety policies, procedures, and loading standards.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet shipping schedules and operational targets.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications Required:

- Experience using hand and power tools such as impact wrenches, ratchets, grinders, hammers, and similar equipment.
- Ability to operate or learn to operate heavy equipment and industrial machinery.




- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work in an outdoor and industrial workplace.
- Reliable, safety-focused, and capable of working within deadlines.

Preferred
- Previous experience working with heavy equipment, construction machinery, or industrial equipment.
- Experience operating forklifts, loaders, excavators, compactors, or similar machinery.
- Mechanical repair, maintenance, or technician experience is considered an asset.
- Knowledge of heavy machinery components and equipment systems is an advantage.
