Position Overview

The Systems Administrator Sr - Workload Automation member will work in a team environment responsible for providing 24x7 support with specialized problem-solving skills. They will analyze business plans, research, certify, test, and implement moderate to highly complex technology and business-related initiatives. The Systems Administrator Sr will play a major role in the administration and deployment of most Fidelity technology projects. What You Will Do

Represent the department in cross-department projects and offer consulting services as necessary. Is a subject matter expert for the department. Provide updates and status reports to management. Analyze information and clearly articulate recommendations in a timely manner. Research new ideas and technology innovation solutions to enhance the current environment.



Support the production and disaster recovery environment and provide leadership for standardization and second level problem determination and analysis. Provide leadership to staff and create support documentation for the team. Implement procedures to ensure resiliency of supported infrastructure. Timely response to alerts outside of business hours and provide updates to manager. Liaison with internal and external partners to resolve difficult day to day problems in a timely manner. Monitor systems and applications daily to ensure service SLAs are met. Provide reports to Project Managers and IS divisional management on progress of projects, addressing and recommending alternative solutions to complex issues during the course of projects. Prepare and update documentation on the supported environment on a regular basis. Ensure project deliverables, targets and dates are met. Influence best practice and standards. Prioritize and address issues in a timely manner and update the manager. Ensure supported infrastructure, hardware, software, and components are in good working order. Ensure the supported environment is secure, resilient, and recoverable, accounting for redundancy of critical infrastructure. Review service level agreements and adjust as business needs dictate. Develop innovations or improvement that will result in significant enhancements to current methods, procedures, and policies.



Take prompt action in addressing problems thereby minimizing system outages and business impact. Ensure copyright laws are adhered to, and software licensing is tracked and accountable. Ensure supported infrastructure is properly documented and design changes are reflected in the documentation to aid in future modification and assist in DR planning. The Expertise You Bring

Strong knowledge of Control-M administration, maintenance, and support. Experience with managed file transfer solutions. Solid scripting skills. Excellent knowledge of computer operations methodology and standards. Excellent knowledge of distributed operating systems, database technology, backup and recovery solutions and disaster recovery procedures. Effective communication and project management skills. Ability to learn and implement emerging technology. Ability to analyze business requirements and provide solutions as they relate to the department. Ability to manage and prioritize multiple competing initiatives efficiently and effectively. Strong mentoring and coaching skillset. Vendor management experience. We are in search of a candidate with the following

Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in technology including workload automation. 3+ years' experience in administration of automation technology. 3+ years' experience in batch management administration. Education and Experience
