Home Comfort Advisor – HVAC Sales

Direct Home Comfort is growing, and we are looking for a driven, professional Home Comfort Advisor to join our sales team.

This is an opportunity for someone who knows how to walk into a customer's home, understand what they actually need, build trust, present the right solution, and confidently ask for the business.

We are not looking for high-pressure salespeople. We are looking for closers who know how to sell through knowledge, value, professionalism and customer experience.

What You'll Sell

Our Home Comfort Advisors offer a complete range of residential home comfort solutions, including:

- Furnaces
- Central air conditioners
- Heat pumps
- Ductless systems
- Tankless water heaters
- Traditional water heaters
- Boilers and combi systems
- Indoor air quality products
- Humidifiers and filtration
- Water treatment products
- HVAC accessories and upgrades

You'll have the ability to build complete solutions rather than being limited to one product or brand.

What You'll Do

- Attend qualified residential sales appointments
- Perform in-home comfort consultations
- Assess the customer's existing HVAC equipment and requirements
- Recommend appropriate equipment and system options
- Present purchase, financing and available payment options
- Explain equipment, warranties, installation requirements and available upgrades
- Build strong rapport and provide an exceptional customer experience
- Accurately complete customer agreements and required sales documentation




- Follow up on open opportunities and unsold estimates
- Work closely with our installation and operations teams to ensure a smooth transition from sale to installation
- Maintain accurate customer and opportunity information in our CRM
- Consistently achieve individual sales and closing targets

Who We're Looking For We are especially interested in candidates with previous experience as a:
- Home Comfort Advisor
- HVAC Sales Advisor
- Residential HVAC Sales Representative
- Comfort Consultant
- In-Home Sales Representative

Previous residential HVAC sales experience is strongly preferred.

- Strong at overcoming objections without creating pressure
- Organized with excellent follow-up habits
- Comfortable using CRM software, laptops and digital sales tools

- Focused on both closing sales and protecting the customer experience

Compensation

Commission-based with uncapped earning potential.

Compensation will be discussed with qualified candidates based on experience and sales background.

This position is structured as an independent contractor sales opportunity.

Experience

Residential HVAC sales: Preferred

Candidates with robust in-home sales experience in related industries may also be considered.
