I am looking for someone to provide a few hours of care a week to my husband while he is at his day program. The job requires a full driver's license. The job is to pick up our wheelchair van at our house, drive to the day program where my husband will already be and help him with lunch and the afternoon activities and then bring him home in our van.
He is a 59 year old male in a wheelchair and paralyzed on the left. He has difficulty speaking but has a machine that he can type on which will speak for him. He has a swallowing disorder which is why he needs help with eating.
The day program will provide him with lunch prepared in the way he needs it to be. The job is Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm. It pays $25/hr. If you're interested but can only do one day, please still apply.
Pay: $25.00 per hour
