Overview

We are seeking a friendly and professional Host/Hostess to join our team. This role is vital in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests and ensuring they have an exceptional dining experience. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong sense of hospitality, and the ability to manage guest flow efficiently. Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred, but we value positive attitude and customer service skills above all.

Must be available Friday-Saturday-Sunday

Duties

- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements
- Manage reservations and waitlists using POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Answer phone calls with professional phone etiquette, providing information and taking reservations as needed
- Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host station and waiting area
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and concerns promptly




- Assist in managing guest flow during busy hours to reduce wait times
- Support team members in various hospitality tasks to enhance overall guest experience

Qualifications

- Previous experience in guest services, serving, or hospitality preferred
- Strong communication skills and friendly demeanor
- Knowledge of food service operations and restaurant POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Hospitality or hotel experience is advantageous but not required
- Skilled appearance and positive attitude are essential
