Duties
- Greet guests promptly with a friendly, energetic demeanor and assist with seating arrangements
- Manage reservations efficiently using POS systems such as Micros POS and handle waitlists accurately
- Answer incoming phone calls with professionalism, providing information about wait times and restaurant offerings
- Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth flow of service and guest satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area to uphold high standards of hospitality
- Assist guests with special requests or accommodations to enhance their dining experience
- Support team members in delivering exceptional guest services by demonstrating excellent communication and hospitality skills
Experience
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required
- Robust customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and positive interactions
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Clover POS or similar platforms is advantageous
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills to effectively engage with guests and team members
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience working in hotel or restaurant settings is a plus but not mandatory
- A proactive attitude and enthusiasm for creating memorable guest experiences are essential
