Make a difference as YWCA Toronto's Part Time EarlyON Teen Mothers Educator in Scarborough, ON. This role focuses on implementing the EarlyON and Teen Mothers' Program while working closely with children and families.
As a key educator, you will contribute to fostering a supportive environment for children aged 0 to 6. Your responsibilities include establishing routines, maintaining a tidy play area, and ensuring the Centre is set up for engaging activities. You'll work collaboratively with parents and supervise volunteers, emphasizing a robust focus on health and safety guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement age-appropriate routines for children
• Support children and parents in group settings




• Maintain a clean and orderly playroom
• Set up activities for child/caregiver engagement
• Supervise volunteers and placement students
Requirements:
• Early Childhood Education Diploma or Social Service Worker qualification
• 1-3 years' experience with children ages 0 to 6
• Excellent communication skills
• First Aid Certificate required
• Bilingualism is an asset
