Play a key role in aerospace innovation as a Process Technician at RTX, focusing on electroless nickel plating. This position is based in Oakville, Canada and operates during weekend nights from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am.

In this role, you will report to the Plating & Processing Supervisor and be responsible for the electroless nickel plating of aircraft components. Your skills in process chemistry, part preparation, and equipment maintenance will contribute significantly to operational excellence. You will also engage in lean initiatives and collaborate with a cross-functional team to enhance productivity and adhere to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:



• Conduct electroless nickel plating on aircraft components • Prepare and fixture parts accurately • Maintain plating tanks and chemistry regularly • Support cross-functional processes as needed • Communicate effectively regarding process priorities

Requirements: • High school diploma with 1-3 years in process chemistry • Experience in plating is beneficial • Familiarity with measuring equipment required • Ability to understand blueprints and use hand tools • Robust knowledge of WHMIS standards
