Join UNB as a University Safety Compliance Officer focused on occupational health and safety at the Saint John campus. This role is integral in developing and implementing training programs to ensure adherence to safety regulations.

You will report to the EHS Manager and oversee various safety training initiatives. Collaborating with safety committees, you'll help draft policies, maintain training compliance, and evaluate program effectiveness. This role is key to promoting a strong safety culture campus-wide while being actively involved in emergency preparedness initiatives.

Key Responsibilities: • Offer occupational safety support throughout UNB campuses • Design, implement,



and assess safety training programs • Coordinate external training services like First Aid • Prepare safety committee meeting agendas and minutes • Execute fire evacuation drills and related education

Requirements: • Diploma or degree in health and safety or related field • 1-3 years' experience in occupational health and safety • Familiarity with safety regulations and software tools • Solid skills in communication and collaboration • Certifications in First Aid or CPR are a plus
