Responsibilities

- Greet guests with a friendly, energetic demeanor and provide a positive first impression
- Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Escort guests to their tables, ensuring comfort and satisfaction throughout their visit
- Answer incoming phone calls with professionalism and explicit communication, providing information about wait times or menu details
- Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to optimize seating flow and reduce wait times
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area to uphold high standards of hospitality




- Assist with guest inquiries, special requests, and feedback to enhance overall guest experience

Experience

- Previous experience in guest services, food service, or hospitality is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a positive attitude are essential
- Familiarity with restaurant operations, including POS systems like Micros POS or similar platforms
- Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in customer service roles within hotels or restaurants is a plus
- Knowledge of food service procedures and basic hospitality principles will help you succeed
