Responsibilities
- Perform housekeeping duties, by cleaning hotel rooms including making bed, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning the windows, scouring bathrooms, changing sheets and towels, managing laundry, and keeping the place neat and tidy
- Clean, disinfect, and store all cleaning equipment at the end of their shift
- Fulfill all cleaning requirements of the employer
- Promptly respond to guests needs
- Inform the employer if any accidents or problems occur while performing cleaning services.
- Work closely with front desk and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or lost and found items to the supervisor.
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning within a hotel or hospitality environment.
- Solid knowledge of floor care techniques including vacuuming, mopping, and carpet cleaning.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and chemical handling procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
- Valuable communication skills to understand instructions clearly and interact professionally with guests.
