Grand Park Hotel Vancouver Airport is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Room Inspector to join our housekeeping team. This position is responsible for ensuring guestrooms are clean, properly prepared, and ready for arriving guests while maintaining the hotel’s cleanliness and quality standards. This position requires a strong commitment to customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

- Inspect cleaned checkout and stayover guestrooms to ensure they meet hotel cleanliness and presentation standards.
- Identify cleaning deficiencies and work with room attendants to have issues corrected before rooms are released.
- Check guestroom amenities, linens, supplies, furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
- Report maintenance concerns, damages, or missing items for follow-up.
- Communicate room status and priorities with Housekeeping and Front Desk.
- Assist with room assignments and prioritizing early arrivals, VIP rooms, and guest requests.
- Conduct periodic inspections of hallways, linen rooms, housekeeping closets, common areas, and other assigned areas.
- Track and manage weekly product inventory to ensure proper supplies are always on hand.




- Help coach room attendants on quality expectations and areas requiring improvement.
- Complete inspection records and other required housekeeping documentation.

Requirements

- Previous hotel housekeeping or room inspection experience is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Reliable, organized, and able to work efficiently in a rapid-paced environment.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Able to work independently and follow established hotel standards.
- Comfortable standing and walking for most of the shift and performing physical tasks including bending, reaching, and lifting.
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
