College is seeking a collaborative and strategic Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) to join our Human Resources team.

As a trusted advisor to leaders across assigned client groups, the HRBP provides strategic and operational HR support that helps advance College priorities and organizational success. This position works closely with leaders to align people strategies with operational needs while ensuring the consistent application of legislation, collective agreements, College policies, and HR best practices.

The HRBP provides guidance and expertise in workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, talent management, recruitment, employee development, and change management. Working in partnership with HR operations and College leaders, this role helps deliver integrated, practical people solutions across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

- Partner with leaders to align people strategies with College priorities and provide trusted HR advice and coaching
- Support workforce planning, organizational design, succession planning, talent management, and organizational effectiveness
- Advise leaders on the interpretation and application of policies, collective agreements, legislation, and HR practices
- Support recruitment, onboarding, retention, employee development, and engagement initiatives
- Coach leaders and teams through workplace issues, organizational change, and change management initiatives




- Use workforce data and analytics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities and support informed decision-making
- Build collaborative relationships with employees, leaders, union representatives, and HR colleagues
- Promote inclusive leadership, HR best practices, and continuous improvement

Job Requirements

- A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field. A combination of experience and education may be considered.
- 5-7 years of progressive experience in human resources
- Experience supporting leaders in post-secondary and/or unionized organization
- CPHR designation is considered an asset
- Experience with workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, talent management, and change management
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply policies, collective agreements, employment legislation, and HR practices
- Solid coaching, consultation, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion when working with sensitive and confidential matters
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with employees and leaders at multiple levels of an organization

Additional Information

This is an Administrative Full-time Continuing position, with a salary range of $78,480 to $102,780/annum. This position is based out of the Vermilion campus, with the need to travel between the Lloydminster and Vermilion campuses.
