Overview

BC Furnace & Air Conditioning Ltd. provides residential heating and cooling services throughout the Lower Mainland. We work with a variety of HVAC and gas appliances, including furnaces, boilers, hot water tanks, air conditioners, heat pumps, fireplaces, and related parts.

We are looking for a motivated HVAC Parts & Customer Service Assistant to join our Parts Department and work alongside our Parts Manager.

This is an entry-level position and previous HVAC experience is not required. We are willing to train the right person who is dependable, comfortable working with customers, and interested in learning about the HVAC industry.

Responsibilities

- Assist the Parts Manager with daily Parts Department tasks
- Help walk-in customers purchasing HVAC parts
- Answer phone calls and assist with basic customer inquiries
- Assist with locating and preparing parts for customers and technicians
- Perform basic data entry and maintain accurate records
- Help receive, organize, and maintain parts inventory
- Learn about HVAC equipment, systems, and parts





Qualifications
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Professional phone etiquette
- Basic computer and data-entry skills
- Organized, reliable, and willing to learn
- Comfortable working with customers and as part of a team
- Interest in learning about the HVAC industry
- Basic knowledge of heating systems, air conditioning, heat pumps, or HVAC parts is an asset, but not required
- Previous customer service, retail, warehouse, parts, or trades experience is an asset
