Location: East Hants Sportsplex

Are you open to learning how to operate a Zamboni and maintain ice surfaces? Do you like being part of a busy events-focused community facility? Do you have some availability to work flexible hours in the fall and winter months, including evenings and weekends?

Previous experience working in an arena environment, operating a Zamboni, or working with an ice plant is an asset, but not required. Training will be provided.

We are looking for candidates who are:

Mechanically inclined and can operate equipment.

Are physically able to lift 30 pounds and can work in varying temperatures.

Have a valid Class V Driver’s License.

Have the ability to work a schedule that could include some days, evenings, and weekends.

Clean Vulnerable Sector check and Child Abuse Registry Check will be required.

Hours: Casual, Part-time, and Full time hours are available.

Hourly Rate:



$24.25/hour
