The successful candidate will provide assistance to youth with developmental disabilities in their own homes. This role includes facilitating community activities, teaching essential life skills, and fostering independence. Additionally, you will help plan social events and assist with daily home tasks, including cooking and homework support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support youth with developmental disabilities in their homes
• Facilitate life skills and community-based activities
• Assist in planning fun social events
• Help individuals with daily tasks such as cooking
• Maintain a supportive and respectful workplace
Requirements:
• Experience working with children or youth
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license and own vehicle
• Current First Aid certification
• Clean driving and criminal record
• Commitment to learning Trauma Informed Practices
