As a Research Assistant within the UBC Department of Medicine, you will assist with key studies, maintain databases, and contribute to research output. You will support ongoing efforts with the HPV Anal Screening Guidelines and the BC CARMA-CHIWOS Collaboration Study. Reporting directly to Dr. Melanie Murray, you will collaborate with lab members and liaise with external partners.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain research records and databases as per protocols • Assist in developing and reviewing data collection forms • Prepare ethics applications and renewals • Support preparation of abstracts and manuscripts • Organize research meetings and participant communications
Requirements: • High school graduation with 1 year related experience • Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion principles • Strong attention to detail and accuracy • Effective verbal and written communication skills • Ability to collaborate respectfully with diverse individuals
