Server – In-Room Dining

In-Room Dining Servers are responsible for ensuring excellent customer service through being consistent, organized and professional at all times. Servers are expected to maintain a gracious manner with all guests and uphold our high level of service.

Open availability is required for this position.

Responsibilities

- Provide food and beverage service to guest rooms and the Boathouse Spa & Baths
- Provide service and support for the hotel staff dining program.
- Be knowledgeable of all Hotel areas and activities and communicate to guests as required
- Resolve guest concerns/issues efficiently and courteously to prevent a reoccurrence and ensure guest will become a repeat customer.
- Evening and weekend availability is required.




- All other duties as assigned

Qualifications
- Prior experience in Food & Beverage an asset
- Sincere customer focus and true appreciation for the guest experience.
- Strong personal integrity with an innate desire to work in an ethical manner.
- Knowledge of Victoria and surrounding areas an asset

Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):
- Continuous standing and walking throughout shift
- Some lifting and carrying up to 40 lbs

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: From $21.01 per hour

Experience:
- Luxury Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
- Food & Beverage: 1 year (preferred)
