We are seeking an experienced Independent Sales Representative to represent VALLON sunglasses within the optical retail channel. This role is focused on using existing experience and contacts to call on brick-and-mortar optical retailers, developing new business, and growing/training existing accounts. The ideal candidate already represents complementary optical or ophthalmic brands and does not currently carry any competing sunglass brands.

This is a commission-based, independent contractor position with additional promotions seasonally for added compensation (new opening door and goal bonuses).

Who we are looking for

Key Responsibilities

- Represent and promote the VALLON brand of sunglasses to optical focused single door or multiple door account within an assigned territory.
- Call on physical brick-and-mortar accounts only (no e-commerce-only)
- Open new retail accounts and grow sell-through with existing partners
- Execute in-store presentations, line showings, clinics, and product education
- Support retail partners with merchandising guidance and brand storytelling
- Attend regional and optical trade shows or corporate gifting events as needed
- Communicate regularly with internal teams regarding account activity,



feedback, and opportunities

Qualifications

- Proven experience as an independent sales rep in the optical industry.
- Existing relationships with optical retailers
- Currently carries other brands that complement (but do not compete with) VALLON sunglasses
- Self-motivated, organized, and results-driven plus strong communication skill
- Ability to work independently while representing the brand professionally
