Convergint is hiring a seasoned Journeyman HVAC/R Technician for a 14/14 rotation in Fort McMurray, AB. This role prioritizes safety and involves comprehensive maintenance of industrial HVAC/R systems. As part of our maintenance team at Suncor Base Plant, you'll engage in troubleshooting, repairing, and commissioning various HVAC/R equipment.
The position demands a commitment to quality service and collaboration with other skilled trades to exceed industry standards and client expectations. Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot HVAC/R systems across industrial sites
- Perform maintenance on air handling and refrigeration equipment
- Utilize testing equipment for diagnosing mechanical issues
- Interpret technical drawings and work orders
- Keep detailed records of maintenance activities Requirements:
- Alberta Journeyman Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic Certificate
- Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence and clean abstract
- Solid experience with commercial HVAC systems
- Possess relevant certifications as assets
