Polyson Polyethylene Products (1986) Ltd. is a family-owned manufacturer with over 40 years of excellence in polyethylene packaging, specializing in bag converting and flexographic printing in the Greater Toronto Area. We are looking for a reliable, hands-on Industrial Maintenance Technician to keep our bag converting and flexographic printing equipment running at peak performance.Key Responsibilities:

- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair bag converting and flexographic printing equipment (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and control systems) to minimize downtime
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on bag machines, flexographic printing presses, slitters, laminators, extrusion lines, compressors, and plant support systems
- Diagnose and repair electrical issues including motors, drives, sensors, heaters, PLCs, and control circuits
- Replace and repair mechanical components (bearings, belts, chains, gears, etc.) and pneumatic systems
- Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and flag recurring issues to management
- Work closely with production teams to ensure safe, efficient equipment operation
- Follow all safety procedures and keep the work area clean and organized

Requirements:
- Strong mechanical aptitude combined with solid electrical troubleshooting skills




- Previous experience maintaining equipment in a bag converting, flexographic printing, flexible packaging, or plastics manufacturing environment (strongly preferred)
- Working knowledge of electrical systems, motors, sensors, basic controls, pneumatics, and mechanical systems
- Ability to safely use hand and power tools
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain) is an asset
- Willingness to learn company-specific equipment
