Responsibilities
Tasks
- Assemble mechanical equipment
- Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions
- Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements
- Repair or replace defective machinery parts
- Fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up
- Perform routine maintenance work on machinery
- Operate machining tools to fabricate parts
- Installing machinery and equipment
