Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as necessary.
- Apply paint and coatings using various methods such as spray guns, brushes, or rollers.
- Inspect finished work for quality assurance and adherence to specifications.
- Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition, ensuring proper usage and safety protocols are followed.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals while adhering to lean manufacturing principles.
- Operate hand tools, power tools,
and machinery safely and effectively.
- Assist with the assembly and fabrication of components as needed.
- Utilize basic math skills for measuring materials and calculating coverage areas.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an industrial painter or similar role is preferred.
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to painting tasks.
- Understanding of lean manufacturing practices is desirable.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
