We are seeking a skilled Industrial Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying protective and decorative coatings to various industrial equipment and structures. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced setting. The Industrial Painter plays a crucial part in maintaining the quality and longevity of our products while adhering to safety standards and production schedules.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as needed
- Operate spray guns, brushes, rollers, and other hand tools to apply paint or coatings
- Maintain a clean work area and adhere to safety protocols at all times
- Assist with assembly or machining tasks as required for project completion
- Document work performed and report any issues or discrepancies
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge with experience using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to coating thickness and surface preparation
- Knowledge of safety standards related to industrial painting, and equipment operation
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience in industrial painting or related manufacturing roles is preferred but not required
