Responsibilities for Industrial Security Guard
- Conduct routine interior/exterior patrols of the site.
- Maintain a highly visible security presence to deter trespassing, vandalism, and other unwanted activity.
- Approach and professionally remove unauthorized individuals and vagrants from the property in accordance with site procedures.
- Monitor the bus parking area for suspicious or unsafe activity and report incidents promptly.
- Complete patrol logs, scan point verification, and detailed incident reports as required.
- Respond to security concerns and communicate effectively with dispatch and site contacts.
- Provide security services only within the assigned areas.
Qualifications for Industrial Security Guard
- Be legally authorized to work in Canada
- Hold a valid BC security license
- First aid certification - an asset
- Strong report writing skills
- Good eyesight and excellent ability to maintain focus
- Strong proficiency with technology
- Ability to stand and walk throughout shift
